Why wikiWHYfiles
The most difficult questions in our lives start with why. wikiWhyfiles is an attempt to tackle those questions through combined effort. The wikiWHYfiles project has been started with the aim to create the world's largest database of answers to questions starting with why. Quality content and satisfactory answers are our only concern. Mediawiki platform is used for this project so that everyone could easily contribuite to the project. In the long run we expect to see this database complete with answers to every why question.
You can help
You can start contributing by improving an answer. While improving you'll get familiar to the format we use at wikiWhyfiles. You can directly start writing an answer to a question you know or can visit the unanswered questions section. Little help from everyone can make this project successful. You do not need to worry how well you write, eventually every answer will be improved many times until it is close to accurate. Weaving of questions is one thing that you could always do (weaving means adding related articles to a particular question in its 'Related Articles' section. Last but not least, you can help simply by spreading the word and creating awareness about this project.
Our Code
- wikiWhyfiles uses wiki software which means anyone can create, edit or modify content. Therefore you can always expect your writings to be edited and improved. These improvements must be taken in the right and positive spirit.
- In discussions try to be polite and civil. No one ever takes anything seriously if coming from a rude person.
